Last month we found out that Tony Hawk was going to be in Denver for his Tony Hawk Boom BoomHuck Jam. And as you may know Brian and I LOVE Tony Hawk....so of course we had to get tickets! I think skate bordering is great for kids to at least watch, because they see this big name people who they know try to do something maybe they get it maybe they don't and if they don't kids get to watch these people fall, get back up and try it again. Something that I think everyone needs to know....doesn't matter who you are, if you fall you get back up and try it again.
Well it's been raining here for the last 2 days and today it was time for the show. The tickets said rain or shine so off we headed to Denver tonight. We stood in the rain for about 45 mins to get in. Well "in" wasn't really in since it was at an outdoor place! So we took our rain soaked seat and waited for the show....which was suppose to start at 5:30 then it got pushed back 6. Thankfully even though it was FREEZING the rain didn't start back up until the end of the show.
Oh and you can only think about the kind of money Tony Hawk makes...you should have seen all the kids with their Tony Hawk cloths on. To include my kid who was sporting his
So even rain and COLD weather won't keep this mom from taking her kid where he wants to be! Here's some picture from the show! Tony Hawk shirt and pants...not to mention his closet is FULL of about every Tony Hawk shirt there is!
Yes even Tony Hawk falls!

Fun!! If we are still here in October I'm going to take Aiden to see the Veggie-Tales Live show in Montgomery. I have a feeling he is going to flip out!
